The Public Prosecution suggested that the French striker Karim Benzema, the Real Madrid striker, be condemned to a 10-month suspended jail sentence because of an instance of blackmail.
Karim Benzema was embroiled on account of coercing his comrade and previous associate in the French public group, Matteo Valbuena, which kept him from addressing the "chickens" for around 6 years prior, until he got back to him at Euro 2020.
As indicated by the French radio, "Monte Carlo", the indictment requested that the court detain Benzema for a considerable length of time with a suspended sentence and a fine of 75,000 euros whenever sentenced.
The 33-year-old was blamed for "complicity in an endeavored coercion" for a situation tracing all the way back to 2015, spinning around a revolting tape of his previous France partner Mathieu Valbuena.
"Karim Benzema is certifiably not an obscure individual, he conveys a picture, a standing and qualities that should be ensured," Prosecutor Julian Ayrault told the court in Versailles.
Benzema didn't go to the preliminary, and Judge Christoph Morgan is relied upon to declare his decision on Friday.
Investigators requested sentences going from year and a half suspended and four years in jail for the other four litigants (Axel Angout, Mustafa Zawawi, Younes Hawass and Karim Zenati). Valbuena, 37, went to the initial two days of the preliminary. Also, he left the court on Thursday, before the decisions mentioned by the indictment were reported, to watch his Greek group Olympiakos against Eintracht Frankfurt in the European League.
Valbuena has not played for France since the issue broke out in 2015. While Benzema was suspended by the National Football Association for around 6 years prior to being called up by public mentor Didier Deschamps in front of Euro 2020 the previous summer
